Mark your calendar for our next meeting. We’re moving this one to a place where we can eat and drink. As we did not get the results we wanted from this election it seemed only fitting that we meet at an Irish pub, right?
Open to all ages (it’s a restaurant so please plan to have dinner and refreshments with us during the meeting), we’ll have our own room and the amazing Gary Dichtenberg as our speaker. Gary is one of the leaders of the group Needles in a Haystack… Liberal Minds in North Atlanta. You can find more about the group on the Meetup.org site.
Also, there is no charge to attend, however donations for future PP activities will be gratefully accepted. 🙂
Please register on our EventBrite page so we can give the pub an estimated number of people that will be attending.
Gary’s topic will be:
Learnings from the Ossoff Campaign – What worked, what didn’t and where do we go from here?
Gary will take us through the campaign, point out some of the ads (from both sides) and open a discussion about what was learned that we can take forward to help new campaigns.
After our speaker, we’ll discuss the groups we want to put together. Our working groups will look at gerrymandering, transportation issues, education issues, healthcare, environmental issues, etc. These working groups will help define future programs.
- Gary Dichtenberg from Needles in a Haystack – Learnings from the Ossoff Campaign | Join Us for an interactive discussing of the 6th District Special Election: What worked, What didn’t, and Where do we go from here?
- Working groups will explore identified areas of education: Gerrymandering, Transportation, Schools/Education, Healthcare, Environment/Sustainability, Human Rights, Smart Growth, Government Accountability & Transparency
- Using the information from the working groups, those outcomes will inform the tasks for our committees.* (If you’ve previously signed up for a committee, please come – this is where we’ll define how they’ll move forward.)
